Earthquake Reno does not fit as a good name

One natural disaster I really do not like is earthquakes. They can get pretty scary. So, for you people who live in the Reno area, you guys are strong. Earthquake Reno is just something that does not really fit along a nice city like yours. After all, you have snow in the winter and sunny weather. However, that party pooper of an earthquake comes along time to time.

In Terrell Owens words, “It is not fair”. I thank you football fans that understood that joke. Anyways, those earthquakes can cause a lot of damage if it gets too big. So thankfully, they do not tend to become over the scale hits in Reno.

Does Reno Get Snow Fall or is it just las vegas

Does Reno get snow fall? Why yes they do even though they are in Nevada which is a desert place. However, Reno is special enough to get snow that there is enough white to cover the whole area. That is how much snow they can get. So, you can have those snowball fights and build snowmen in front of your house.

On the other hand, you are going to need chains prepared for the winter season to chain your tires to prevent it from sliding on the road. Anyways, yes Reno does get snow fall and it is amazing because it not just a little but like an actual experience.

Welcome to Reno Airport

Do you not want to drive into Reno? You should take a plane in and land at the Reno airport. The Reno airport is close by enough so it will not be that long of a drive away into town. The airport is safe and secure too. There should not be any worries and not much delay. Plus, they have what all the other main airports have.

There is airport parking in case you need to leave your car there if you leave Reno. In case you are visiting Reno, they have regular bus, shuttle, and taxis that flow through the airport constantly.

Whenever you are in Reno, you need to go watch their Reno air races. They hold one about every year and it is always an exciting and fun time. Usually before they have their race, all the participating and non participating planes are on the ground. People can go around and check them out and take pictures of it or with it.

In some sense, it is like going to an air show. However, after all those smiles for the camera and hot dogs, the game face turns on. Those racers want to win it badly. They want to put on a good show too for the spectators there. After all, it is almost like an air show.

It is always nice for Reno Weather

Reno weather is quite liked by the locals very well. The sun is sunny and not scorching humid style like Arizona. When winter comes, there is enough snow to cover the area white and make it look like the Christmas season. However, they complain mostly about the wind there. Apparently, the wind blows like crazy and it can get frustrating for them to cope with.

Another thing is the change of weather during seasons can be sporadic. It can make you feel like you went back a season or make you feel the season a little more ahead of schedule than usual. Overall, the weather there is rated above average.

Reno Newspaper is just like a newspaper

When you are in Reno, you should pick up the Reno newspaper. It has all the latest news happening in Reno. Also, it has basically what every newspaper has, ads and the funnies. However, the special thing about them is being able to find special discounts to events from it. If there is an event happening in Reno, you might find a good deal in the papers for it.

Plus, if you need a job there, you can check the back in the classifieds to find a job. You can read something humorous by checking the funnies to make yourself laugh and smile. Overall, it is just a newspaper to read.

The Reno Convention Center is special

The first word that comes to mind when you hear someone say Nevada is Las Vegas. However, the other smaller less famous city people forget is Reno. They have just as much fun stuff to do there minus all the casinos and glamor. Reno has the Reno convention center to boast though. I would even say it holds quite a few events time to time.

It is not just a convention center since it has a versatile amount of rooms there for a conventioneer. Plus, it is just mere minutes away from the airport. One more thing, it has over 20 thousand guest rooms to sleep. Regardless, it is definitely a super center.
